Known as Germander Speedwell, it was once strewn on floors in Europe for its pleasant scent and believed to bring good luck.

Care: Prefers well-draining, humus-rich soil kept evenly moist. Water moderately, ensuring the soil never dries out completely, especially during warm spells. A light mulch of leaf mold or compost in autumn helps retain moisture and nourish roots. Performs well in containers—select a pot at least 8 inches deep with good drainage.
Allergen Information: Low allergy risk—blooms April–June. Produces minimal pollen but does attract bees and other pollinators. Individual sensitivities can vary and may develop over time.
